Between a Rock and a Hard Place

The nation of Israel experienced captivity and exile to Babylon because of their stubborn and persistent idolatry. Psalm 137 speaks of their grief and despair over all they had lost. We experience similar grief and loss today, sometimes from our own sinful choices, sometimes because we live in a broken world. We learn important lessons today about managing loss, and finding life on the other side of it.
