“As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.” (Luke 9:51) Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem knowing that opposition, torture, abuse and death waited for Him there. Sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest thing to do. That’s what it means to do your duty. And that’s what Jesus did…for us.
